India’s first Formula 1 racing track all set in Buddh International Circuit and the race is going to happen on 30th of October 2011.
The event was formed by Vodafone, who changed the local street into a mini Formula 1 racing circuit which is located 35 miles to the south of Delhi.
Lewis Hamilton, currently driving for McLaren’s team exclaims that there were around 40,000 viewers last month in India when he drove his MP4-23 through the streets near Bangalore.
He also says that "he was overwhelmed by seeing the number of passionate F1 fans in India.
We were expecting an approximate of 5,000 people to turn up, but there came around 40,000 fans which were highly incredible.
India is a sport loving nation especially cricket, but I think Formula 1 racing will rock in India which makes the people in India to take Formula 1 to their hearts."
