Baharain has paid the fee for cancelled GP

Bernie Ecclestone, CEO of Formula 1, said that Bahrain had paid the fee to host 2011 grand prix even after their race was cancelled.

Season-opening grand prix was scheduled at Bahrain but it got cancelled due to some problem even then Bahraini government paid their fees.

"I don't think turnover will be down this year," he told the Independent newspaper.

He also says that "the profit will be more or less the same as 2010."

As for next year's Bahrain GP, which is scheduled for 22nd April, the 80-year-old is confident the race will go ahead.

Bahrainis are confident that everything is going to be fine and they are right for their sake."
